As a non-profit, supporting partners play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of school communities through our mindfulness based social emotional learning (MBSEL) programs. Over the past 10 years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with organizations that empower us to keep moving forward and reaching new milestones. To celebrate, we are highlighting our supporting partners and the incredible work that they do

1. LG Electronics launched the Experience Happiness Initiative to teach youth six sustainable skills for social and emotional well-being: Mindfulness, Gratitude, Generosity, Human Connection, Positive Outlook, and Purpose. Through Experience Happiness, LG empowers Inner Explorer to create scalable programming that teaches these core skills, highlighting daily mindfulness as the foundation.

2. The Allstate Foundation works to create prosperous communities where people are empowered to fulfill their dreams. The foundation focuses on four key areas: inspiring the next generation of leaders, ending domestic violence, uplifting communities through volunteerism, and developing non-profit leaders. Inner Explorer Co-Founder, Dr. Laura Bakosh, is an Allstate non-profit leadership fellow, working to elevate students toward their potential and purpose through mindfulness based social emotional learning (MBSEL).

3. The Skillman Foundation is on a mission to ensure Detroit children have equitable opportunities to learn and to lead. Key areas of focus include strengthening K-12 education, afterschool programs, and college and career pathways for Detroit youth. The Skillman Foundation recently celebrated 60 years of service to children.

4. Community Foundation of Tampa Bay connects people and resources to inspire charitable giving and create meaningful, lasting change in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties. The foundation offers collaborative leadership to address complex community issues, grants and endowment management to support non-profits, and easy tools and personalized service for donors to get involved in their mission.

5. Community Foundation of Sarasota County uses a two-generation (2Gen) approach to help children and parents to break the cycle of poverty through education, reliable economic support, social capital, and support for their health and well-being. They work to connect donors with causes to create long-lasting change across generations.

6. Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburgis on a mission to end differences in health due to social or structural disadvantages in Pinellas County. They seek to address health disparities, advance population health, and achieve health equity by inspiring and empowering people, ideas, information exchange, organizations, and relationships.
