Mission Moments

Inner Explorer created Mission Moments to keep you updated on the impact your support and generosity has on those we serve. We want to share not only program developments, but also the stories that warm our hearts and fuel our mission to reach ten million mindful children by 2020. A goal we accomplished because of you. Thank you!

Mission Moments: August 2020

Fear of the unknown can cause a fight-flight-or-freeze reaction. And right now, our days are filled with chaos and stress. Some of us may not be worried about lions and tigers and bears; but are anxious about what is going to happen with back to school. Whether it is in person, blended or remote the decision will affect everyone: teachers, administrators, parents, and caregivers and entering the unknown triggersthe fight-flight-freeze reaction. How we all respond to that reaction is just as unknown

Inner Explorer has been diligently working to help lessen the gravity of any of the above scenarios. Through our guided mindfulness program of just 10 minutes a day, students will be able to focus more on the present moment and not on perceived fears. Inner Explorer is designed to adapt to your students’ needs with a variety of flexible options:

  • Available on any device (including web, mobile and Kindle)
  • Able to sync between in school and remote programs
  • Available in English and Spanish for Early Learning, Elementary, and Middle School series
